The history of the Miolo Winery began in 1897 when Giuseppe Miolo landed in Brazil in Bento Gonçalves, where he planted the first vineyards. Miolo Wine Group is the leading wine exporter in Brazil, highly recognized in the international market. Wine produced in the four group wineries amounts to an average of 10 million liters per year in a cultivated vineyard area of approximately 1,000 hectares.
